SOUTHERN HILLS HOSPITALIST PROGRAM ADDS TWO

October 7, 2009— Nicole Salloum, M.D. and Victor Vallejo, M.D. have joined Southern Hills Medical Center as members of the hospitalist team.

Dr. Salloum completed her internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after receiving her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center. She graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor of science degree from Louisiana State University. Dr. Salloum is board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Vallejo earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at University of Tennessee affiliated hospitals. He graduated cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from David Lipscomb University.

Dr. Vallejo came to Southern Hills from Charleston, S.C., where he worked as a hospitalist at Trident Medical Center and served on the diabetes awareness and critical care committees. He also previously served as an assistant professor in the internal medicine department of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
